Taylor Swift Gives '22' Hat to 9-Year-Old Girl with Cancer at Sydney Eras Tour, Granting Her 'Wish'

The coveted "22" headwear was presented to 9-year-old Australian resident Scarlett Oliver, whose stepmother Natalie had shared her story and desire to meet Swift via social media, during the pop superstar's Sydney Eras Tour performance on Friday. Oliver.

She further stated, "We were given a prognosis of 12 to 18 months following the diagnosis." "She has been an absolute warrior throughout the numerous operations, radiation treatments, and other interventions that have been implemented in an effort to extend her life."

Natalie stated that while the Make-a-Wish Foundation had previously granted Scarlett's desire to meet Swift, it was ultimately unsuccessful in materializing the request.

"I just want her to experience everything in life and if anyone deserves a little happiness it's her," according to Natalie. "She deserves the world."

She shared another Facebook post on Wednesday, this time a photo of Scarlett holding a sign that read: "Taylor, may I have the number 22 hat? "Kindly permit."

At the concert, Scarlett's desire was ultimately granted. A video of the incident on X shows Swift bending down, hugging the small girl, and kissing her hands prior to donning the hat.
