SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE RECIPE

4 cups cubed sweet potatoes ▢1/2 cup sugar ▢2 eggs beaten ▢1/2 tsp salt ▢4 tbsp butter softened ▢1/2 cup milk ▢1/2 tsp vanilla extract ▢1/2 cup brown sugar ▢1/2 cup all-purpose flour ▢3 tbsp butter softened ▢1/2 cup chopped pecans

Ingredients

Step - 1

325°F preheated oven.  

Boil sweet potatoes in water in a medium pot over medium-high heat until tender, then puree.  

Step - 2

Combine the mashed potatoes, sugar, eggs, salt, butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a large basin until smooth. Grease a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish.  

Step - 3

In a medium basin, combine the brown sugar and flour, then cut in the butter until the mixture is coarse. After incorporating the pecan mixture, distribute it on top of the sweet potato mixture.  

Step - 4

Bake for 30 minutes, or until a light browning occurs on top.
