RECIPE FOR APPLE CRISP

10 cups apples ▢1 cup sugar ▢2-3 tablespoons all purpose flour ▢1 teaspoon cinnamon ▢½ cup water ▢1 cup quick cooking oats ▢1 cup all purpose flour ▢1 cup brown sugar packed ▢¼ teaspoon baking powder ▢¼ teaspoon baking soda ▢½ cup butter melted

Step - 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Peel, core, and slice apples. Place in a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a bowl, mix sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, and ground cinnamon together. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Pour ½ cup of water evenly over all.

Step - 2

To the melted butter, incorporate oats, one cup of flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix thoroughly. Apply a uniform crumble to the apple mixture.  

Step - 3

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Warm and savor alongside a dollop of vanilla ice cream!
