PUMPKIN CHILI RECIPE

1 pound lean ground beef ▢1/2 pound ground pork sausage ▢1 onion chopped ▢1 green pepper chopped ▢2 stalks celery sliced ▢3 cloves minced garlic minced ▢1 15 oz can diced tomatoes ▢1 8 oz can tomato sauce ▢1 1/2 cups beef broth ▢1 Tbsp taco seasoning ▢1 tsp ground cumin ▢1/2 tsp salt ▢1 15 oz can pumpkin puree ▢1 15 oz can black beans ▢1 15 oz can kidney beans

Ingredients

Step - 1

In a large soup pot, brown the minced beef and sausage over medium-high heat. Remove any excess oils.  

Green peppers and minced onions should be sauteed for two to three minutes.

Step - 2

Bring the remaining components to a simmer. Simmer the vegetables for 30 to 40 minutes, or until tender, over low heat.  

Step - 3

Serve immediately with tortilla chips, sour cream, shredded cheese, and green scallions as garnishes.
