POUND CAKE RECIPE

½ cup butter softened ▢1 cup sugar ▢3 large eggs ▢2 teaspoons vanilla extract ▢½ teaspoon baking powder ▢¼ teaspoon salt ▢1 ½ cups all-purpose flour ▢½ cup sour cream

Ingredients

Step - 1

Preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.  

Combine the butter and sugar in a large basin or the bowl of a stand mixer until airy and light. Whisk in the vanilla and eggs until smooth. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.   

Step - 2

Combine in the sour cream until smooth. Evenly distribute the batter throughout the pan that has been prepared.  

Step - 3

Bake for fifty to sixty minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clear. After 10 to 15 minutes, transfer to a cooling stand to finish cooling.  

Step - 4

If preferred, cut into slices and serve alongside whipped cream and berries.
