▢3 cups mashed potatoes ▢2 large eggs ▢1/2 cup all-purpose flour ▢1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese ▢1 teaspoon dried parsley ▢salt and pepper to taste to taste ▢vegetable oil for frying


Step - 1

Bring a large griddle or skillet to a medium temperature.  

In order to make potatoes more manageable, I suggest briefly warming them in the refrigerator before mashing them a second time or beating them with an electric mixer.    

Step - 2

Grease the griddle or frying pan lightly. 

Step - 3

Each dough patty should contain approximately 1/4 cup of batter. Apply pressure to the patty using your palms. 

Step - 4

Fry until golden on one side (approximately 3 to 5 minutes), then rotate and fry until golden on the other.
