Over medium heat, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan.
Reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, uncovered for six minutes.
Whisk in the eggs until thoroughly combined.
Carve pecans into the pie shell. Decoction of sugar over pecans.
