PECAN PIE RECIPE

1 cup sugar ▢1 cup light corn syrup ▢3 tbsp butter ▢1 tsp vanilla extract ▢3 extra-large eggs lightly beaten ▢1 cup chopped pecans ▢1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Ingredients

Step - 1

Over medium heat, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan.  

Reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, uncovered for six minutes. 

Step - 2

Whisk in the eggs until thoroughly combined. 

Step - 3

Carve pecans into the pie shell. Decoction of sugar over pecans.  

Step - 4

Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
