PANCAKE RECIPE

1½ cups all-purpose flour ▢3½ teaspoons baking powder ▢1 tablespoon sugar ▢½ teaspoon salt ▢1¼ cups milk ▢1 egg ▢3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢Toppings: fruit, whipped cream, buttermilk syrup

Ingredients

Step - 1

Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into a large basin.  

Create a well in the center of the ingredients that are desiccated. Add the egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla to the mixture. Combine by combining.  

Step - 2

Preheat an oil-coated griddle or skillet over medium-high heat (approximately 375°F).  

Step - 3

For each pancake, pour about a quarter cup of batter onto the griddle. About 3 minutes, or until bubbly and faintly browned.  

Step - 4

Continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes, or until browned on the second side. Serve while still heated, garnished to taste.
