Giant Buckeye Cookie

1 package chocolate cake mix (regular size) 2 large eggs 1/2 cup canola oil 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar Optional toppings: Hot fudge ice cream topping, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and melted creamy peanut butter

Step - 1

Gas oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together the cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large basin. Incorporate chocolate morsels. Use half of the dough to grease an oven-safe skillet, such as a 10-inch cast-iron skillet.   

Spread a mixture of peanut butter and confectioners' sugar over the pastry in a skillet.  

Step - 2

Form the remaining dough into a 10-inch circle between sheets of parchment paper; arrange the dough over the filling.  

Step - 3

20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the dough emerges with moist fragments.  

Step - 4

Served tepid, garnished to taste.
