EASY FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

1 cup milk ▢2 large eggs ▢2 egg yolks ▢1 tablespoon sugar ▢1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ▢1 pinch salt ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢8 slices brioche bread toasted or slightly stale ▢4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Ingredients

Step - 1

Whisk the eggs, egg yolks, and milk together in a medium basin or cake pan. Whisk together the cinnamon, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until homogeneous.  

Soak bread slices in the mixture for 10–15 seconds per side, or until saturated.  

Step - 2

Melt butter in a saute pan or on a griddle over medium heat. Cook bread slices for an additional 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.  

Step - 3

Serve while still heated, garnished to taste.
