1 cup sugar ▢½ cup unsweetened cocoa ▢½ cup cold water ▢1 tablespoon butter ▢2 teaspoons vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa and sugar until all particles are eliminated.
Bring the butter and water to a medium temperature. After bringing to a simmer, decrease the heat. Stirring continuously, bring to a simmer for approximately one minute.
After the mixture has chilled, add vanilla after removing it from heat.
After combining, transfer to a glass container and chill
Reheat prior to serving.
