CHICKEN WILD RICE SOUP RECIPE

▢6 tbsp butter ▢1/2 cup all-purpose flour ▢4 cups chicken broth ▢6 oz Uncle Ben’s Original Recipe Long Grain & Wild Rice (cooked) ▢2 cups chicken cooked and chopped ▢1/2 cup sliced carrots ▢3 tbsp slivered almonds ▢1/2 tsp salt ▢1 cup half and half

Ingredients

Step - 1

Melt butter and incorporate flour in a kettle. 

By stirring until incorporated, a roux is formed.  

Step - 2

Stir in the chicken broth and heat to a simmer.  

Step - 3

Stir in the cooked rice and reduce to a simmer. The cooking time is five minutes.  

Step - 4

Warm the remaining ingredients in a skillet. GREATLY ENJOY!
