CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE RECIPE

1 large head of cauliflower cut into bite sized pieces ▢2 tablespoons olive oil ▢1 teaspoon salt divided ▢1/2 teaspoon pepper divided ▢2/3 cup sour cream ▢1/3 cup heavy whipping cream ▢2 teaspoons minced garlic ▢1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese ▢5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled ▢1/4 cup green onions chopped

Ingredients

Step - 1

Glaze the oven at 450 degrees. Arrange the cauliflower segments along a rimmed baking sheet in a uniform fashion. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt, then drizzle with olive oil. After roasting for 15 to 20 minutes.  

Combine the sour cream, heavy cream, minced garlic, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper while the cauliflower roasts.  

Step - 2

Toss the cauliflower until coated with the sauce. Combine the bacon, half of the green scallions, and half of the cheddar cheese.  

Step - 3

The cauliflower mixture should be poured into a casserole dish, followed by the remaining bacon and cheese. For 10 to 15 minutes, bake the cheese until it is melted. Add the remaining green scallions as a garnish. Prepare boiling.

Bacon, cheese, and cream are layered in this cauliflower casserole, which merits a round of acclaim. No other method exists for incorporating vegetables into a meal.
