Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Wash the potatoes and cut them into narrow rounds, approximately a half-inch in thickness.
In a pot filled with water, bring the potatoes to a simmer. Cook for three to four minutes. Pat dry and drain the potatoes.
Coat foil with cooking spray before placing it on a baking sheet. Add potatoes to a skillet. Apply a scant coating of melted butter.
Garnish with garlic salt, cheese, and bacon crumbs.
After 16 to 18 minutes in the oven, garnish with sour cream.
